Getting Started

Green Hell’s introduction to crafting is that it will list a few items in your inventory right from the start along with their requirements that you will be able to craft. These are called blueprints and they will detail down the requirements for each item that you will need in order to craft that certain item. These will be the items that you will require the most and will be enough until you progress more in the jungle.

There are two different crafting screens for creating smaller, everyday items and crafting bigger things such as structures and buildings. An important thing to note here is that if you all the required items for something that can be crafted but you don’t have the required blueprints, you can still craft that item or structure. So essentially, all you need are the required components for crafting.

To craft smaller items, you can use the crafting menu which is essentially a stone with a sheet on it and you combine all the resources on it and the item will be crafted instantly. To build structures and place them in the world, open your notebook and simply choose the blueprint and it will appear in front if you. Now that it is in front of you, you can move around and place it in the world at a suitable location where its icon turns white.

The job is not done yet. Once the base is laid down, put down all the required resources for the structure in the right order. Once all resources are complete, the structure will be fully built and you will be able to use it. You can continue to add resources to a half-build structure at different times if you don’t have them all at the start. For crafting you will need all resources at the same time but for building, you can add resources to the structure at different times to fully build it.

• Bone Knife – Head to the coordinates 46’W, 26’S to arrive at an abandoned camp near the river to find it.
• Cage Trap – Head to the coordinates 46’W, 26’S to arrive at an abandoned camp near the river to find it.

• Weapon Rack – Head to the coordinates 47’W, 18’S and you will arrive at an enemy camp where the weapon rack is present.

Important Resource Locations

Although you will find the resources randomly throughout the forest, there are some notable sites around the entire map which will grant you certain resources without much trouble. We have detailed all such locations in this guide.

Resource Site # 1

Head to the coordinates 45’W, 32’S which is a waterfall. You can find clean water here along with fish. You can also find some bananas and Water Lily here.

Resource Site # 2

Head to the coordinates 40’W, 24’S near the plane crash and you will find ash, bamboo, banana, charcoal, coconut, coconut, obsidian and peccary.

Resource Site # 3

Head to the coordinates 41’W, 19’S which is inside a small tunnel with a generator inside it to find Molineria plants inside.

Resource Site # 4

Head to the coordinates 51’W, 19’S which leads to an abandoned fishing dock. You will find plenty of food here.

Head to the coordinates 51’W, 28’S which is an abandoned drug processing facility. There are plenty of food, painkillers and a metal pot and rusty machete here.

Head to the coordinates 52’W,17’S which lead to a camp with some bamboo trees around it.

Head to the coordinates 51’W, 24’S which leads a pond. You can collect water from the pond and catch some fish. There are also some coconut trees here.

Head to the coordinates 42’W, 22’S and you will arrive at the entrance of a small tunnel. Head inside and you will find Obsidian.

Head to the coordinates 44’W, 17’S and you will find an old jeep here. You can find canteen, food, metal, and water here.

Apart from the resources found in the world lying around, sometimes you will be required to harvest the resources from their source. Below you will find all the resources which must be harvested from their source.

Although every item and structure in Green Hell serves its purpose however some of these blueprints are more important and vital for survival that you must focus on crafting first in the game. We have detailed some of these items below.

• Axe – Combine a rope, a stick and two stones to craft an Axe. You will need an Axe to cut down trees.
• Blade – Combine a bone and a rope to create a Blade. It will help to cut through bushes and cut meat from animals.
• Shelter – You can save your game here and it is unlocked right from the start.
• Stone Trap – Combine three sticks, a rope, and a large stone to create a Stone Trap. It will help you capture and kill small animals for food.
• Water Bidon – Combine an empty coconut and a rope to create a Water Bidon. It can be used to store water when you are going to explore far off places.
