While employed by the Weather Channel, Jim encounters Tamra Cantore, who later becomes his wife. At the time of the initial meeting in 1986, Tamra was an administrator and a part of the channel’s management team. Finally, after four years of dating, Jim was open about his relationship and married his corporate girlfriend.
The ceremony was held on October 6, 1990. Other details of their wedding have stayed a secret, and the public has not yet seen any of the couple’s wedding photos.
Before a sad incident upended Tamra’s routine, Jim and his wife were enjoying themselves. When she was in her forties and the late 1990s, she received a Parkinson’s disease diagnosis.
